Wi-Fi QR Code Generator

A Wi-Fi QR code is useful when you want people to join a network without typing the SSID and password by hand. PlainQR builds the standard Wi-Fi payload locally in your browser so you can make a simple static code for an office, studio, cafe, event desk, or guest room. There is no dashboard, no scan tracking, and no cloud workflow in the middle. You enter the network details, confirm the preview, and download a clean SVG or PNG for print or screen use.

FAQ

Short answers to the practical questions people usually ask before they download.

Will this work for open networks?
Yes. Choose the None security option and PlainQR will generate the Wi-Fi payload without a password.
Does PlainQR verify that the network exists?
No. It only encodes the details you provide, so accuracy depends on the SSID, password, and security type you enter.
Is the Wi-Fi password sent to a server?
No. Wi-Fi QR generation happens locally in the browser and PlainQR does not store network credentials.
